We hunt mainly on our family game Ranch which covers an area of ±30000 acres. This Ranch is located in the North West Province of South Africa bordering the Madikwe Game Reserve, which is the third largest game reserve in South Africa. The hunting area is a mere 3½ hours drive from O.R Tambo International Airport and 45 minutes by charter aircraft. Besides this area, we also operate on excellent Big Five areas in Zimbabwe, Namibia and Tanzania.

Our main base camp, with its beautiful views of the Marico Valley, affords our visitors the opportunity to see the now increased numbers of Red Hartebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Sable Antelope, Giraffe and many more species that roam the ±30000 acres surrounding the lodge.

Because of our early involvement in cattle farming, "problem" Leopard always posed a threat to our livestock, which enabled Savva to gain extensive knowledge about the habits of this elusive animal. This resulted in Hunters Wild Safaris offering speciality Leopard hunts both from blinds and with hounds. The use of well-trained, game proofed hounds offers a new dimension to Leopard hunting in Africa and a viable alternative to trapping and baiting the most elusive of the "Big 5". It places Leopard Hunting in a class of its own and has been pioneered in the North West Province of South Africa.
